College Fresh, Inc. is a food service provider for fraternities, sororities, and college dorms across the U.S. Our specialty is providing freshly made, delicious food along with the best client service in the collegiate food service industry. 

We are currently looking for an administrative assistant. This is a full-time, year-round position, with an expected start date as soon as possible. This position will help ensure the highest level of customer service at our location in a large dormitory on the UCSB campus. 



Provides administrative support to the Food Service Director in the areas of client services and communication, account invoicing, employment, and daily office tasks. 


Essential Functions:

Establish and maintain a means of communication with the student body to receive feedback in the forms of surveys, comment cards, weekly meetings etc.

Ensure that two cafes are set-up and decorated to create/foster a cozy/homey environment for students and guests.

Coordinate summer camps, conferences, and special events at facilities including details of an event, menus, meal times, decorations, set-up, invoicing and communication with the client.

Work with the corporate office accounting team to coordinate invoicing details to ensure accurate and timely distribution of weekly invoices, appropriate vendor management, and financial viability.

Work in conjunction with Corporate Office Employee Resources Team to ensure compliance with College Fresh onboarding, employment and performance management best practices, policies, and procedures.   

Maintain updated, accurate electronic personnel files for all staff at the assigned location.

Responsible for editing and approving all hourly employees' timecards prior to the biweekly deadline for each pay cycle.

Participate in weekly team meetings with College Fresh and TSL management/staff to discuss concerns, upcoming events, staffing etc. to ensure continuity and consistency for location operation. 



Requires an Associate' s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or similar field (or the equivalent thereof), plus 1-2 years' experience in an office/administrative position --  prior food service setting or experience is a definite bonus!

Requires good working knowledge of computers and relevant software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office applications, etc.)

1-2 years exceptional customer service experience, with particular attention to both professional and courteous verbal and written communications preferred.

Exceptional time management skills with the ability to work on multiple items simultaneously and prioritize conflicting needs, expeditiously handling matters proactively. 

Detail oriented with strong organization, interpersonal and relationship building skills, effectively working as part of a team.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information without breech for both personnel and corporate matters.
